You may have heard multiple times how a natural beauty product is fragrance-free. But what does it actually mean? Does it automatically mean that it’s scentless?
Well, not exactly.
A fragrance can be made up of synthetic chemical compounds to produce a scent, which can irritate the skin when it’s incorporated in skincare products. When a product is fragrance-free, it’s free of any chemicals that can be harmful to your skin, but it can still have a scent due to certain ingredients.
Take note: Unscented products aren’t the same as fragrance-free. They still have masking fragrances to make them smell “natural.”

Cosrx’ cream toner is lightweight and won’t clog up your pores. It’s made with hyaluronic acid, vitamin C-rich sea buckthorn, and niacinamide which hydrate skin and protect it against free radicals. Cetaphil Moisturizing Lotion
