In today’s fashion news, one local shoe brand has made it to the pages of British “Vogue.” Annie & Lori, known for their minimalist designs and use of leather, was included in the magazine’s Designer Profile section of the Fashion and Film Issue.
The feature mentioned “the brand’s collection includes modern updates of old favorites such as the bakya or wooden clogs, and mules that feature unique indigenous Filipino textiles.
When British “Vogue” reached out to founder Faith Mijares, she was excited. “It’s a dream come true and this will definitely inspire us to continue creating more beautiful sandals for the Filipina and for more women in other parts of the world.”
