In bizarre news that broke yesterday, Allure almost exclusively reported on luxury French shoe designer Christian Louboutin’s new 36-piece lipstick range, then took the news bit down, but not before Preen was able to get these photos from the collection:
Supposedly the latest addition under his Christian Louboutin Beauté makeup line, the colors were inspired by the beauty of Egyptian queen Nefertiti. If this really is happening, expect a gorgeous range of shades, and of course, to-die-for packaging.
Not much else was revealed about the lipstick line other than it does cost a pretty penny—a single tube costs $90, but hey, if you can’t afford his shoes, this may well be the next best thing. This, and a bottle of his killer nail polish.
UPDATE: The post is back up with new photos, the lipstick line has been confirmed, and all is right with the world!
