These Dessert-Themed Sneaks Will Soon Be Available in Manila

Nike redesigns its classic Air Max footwear to create a confectionery-inspired collection: the FA15 Air Max 90 City, which is only available in two Southeast Asian countries, the Philippines and Singapore. Inspired by some of the world’s well-loved food and beverage, the six-piece collection translates six cities’ best desserts into color blocking sneakers.

Each of the six designs embodies a particular dessert specific to its city of origin. The Macaron (Paris) is a lavender-colored pair while the Must Win Cake (Shanghai) pair comes in light pink. There is also the Eton Mess (London), a white pair designed with a graphic art pattern resembling the actual dessert, and Strawberry Cheesecake (New York), cream-colored shoes complete with red accents that resemble strawberries, on the shoe menu. The Aperitivo (Milan) and the Harajuku Crepe (Harajuku) are also good options for the both the sweet tooth and sneaker-head in you.

Consider it a cheat day for you and your shoes, then.

The FA15 Women’s City collection will be available locally on Sept. 18 at select Nike Sportswear retailers as well as online.
