Banggo Niu’s presentation for Manila Fashion Festival Day Two started off with loose ensembles rendered in white, brown, and other neutrals, reminding us of the beauty of a clean shoreline. As the show progressed, we saw sequined gowns, embellished pants, and shorts in sea green, aqua, gold, and black. Then we remembered what it’s like to be under the sea.
With models sporting slicked black hair and golden makeup, Sea Siren, Banggo’s spring/summer ’16 collection, was clear in its vision of bringing beach-inspired colors over to next season’s eveningwear.
