No ‘Hotline Bling’ Turtlenecks In Drake’s First Womenswear Collection?!

A lesser-known fact about Drake is that he actually has a clothing brand called OVO. After four years of creating collections that exclusively catered to men, he finally announces the release of his womenswear line today. Seems like Kanye isn’t the only musician stepping up his clothing line game.

The OVO aesthetic isn’t far from Drizzy’s penchant for black and gold with a little hip-hop—though note that this isn’t Drake merchandise apparel, okay? It’s filled with comfy-looking oversized hoodies, tees, and sweaters mostly in black. But it’s about time the 29-year-old artist released a capsule collection specifically designed for women.

The collection consists of scoop neck shirts—some are crop tops, leggings, sweatshirts, and joggers, all with a sporty meets hip-hop slant in its design—maybe something a Drake girl would possibly wear, yes?

Much to our disappointment, though, there is the notable absence of the now-iconic turtleneck sweater and puffer jacket he wore in his hit music video “Hotline Bling,” which made it to the charts and generated thousands of dancing memes. Even the owl-printed OVO sweatshirt he wore in the vid sold out readily! Perhaps reconsider this for your collection’s 2.0, Champagne Papi!

Women worldwide can get their hands on this loungewear-looking full line as it drops online on Nov. 28 at the OVO online store.

This could just be the perfect outfit to wear while waiting for that hotline to bling, yes?
