Here Are Fun, Stylish Ways to Liven Up Your Boring Office Clothes

Dressing for work is easier for girls from creative industries like publishing or advertising. They can basically wear whatever they want, as long as it’s not last night’s Black Market outfit. But corporate girls have it tough—think strict company dress codes.

You have your office wear staples: the usual blazer, humdrum button-downs, and those overworn trousers and pencil skirts. But we’re here to warn you: Don’t be stuck in a fashion rut with this office uniform! Choose pieces that shout, squeal, and scream fun as you stay professional.

Even if the day keeps you behind your desk or going around town meeting clients, nothing can shake off the Monday blues or the Wednesday slump better than looking your absolute best at work—stress notwithstanding. Choose pieces that have a little more excitement in them—those ruffles on the sleeves, floral appliqués on the skirt—and pair them with brightly hued shoes and bags to inject the added style you need.

Use this weekend wisely and arm yourself with pieces in time for another full workweek ahead!
