In case you’re wondering how to achieve those Kylie Jenner lips, King K herself gladly bares her secrets. A new video posted on her namesake website will get you to sign up just to see how she does her everyday makeup. Total time to apply all her bronzing, contouring, and finishing shebang? Apparently 20 minutes.
Of course, the video had to be shorter. The seven-minute-long clip starts with Kylie moisturizing her face, then moving on to do her brows. “If you ever color it too dark, don’t you fear, brush it through,” Kylie shared, like the best friend who’ll still take a selfie with you on despite your uneven brows. She also revealed here that she uses the famed Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz in Soft Brown.
For coverage, Kylie uses two foundations, the Make Up For Ever Ultra HD Invisible Cover Foundation and Buxom Show Some Skin Weightless Foundation, and mixes it on the Urban Decay Vice Palette. She blends it in with a Tarte brush.
Later, she moves on to bronze and contour with the Stila Aqua Glow Perfecting Bronzer by brushing from the top of her ear down her cheekbones. She also pats down dots of the Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer under her eyes, into the corners, down the tip of her nose, and on her Cupid’s bow.
Kylie likes to set her foundation with the La Mer Translucent Powder, though she had to settle for a Chanel one for the video since “they don’t sell [it] in L.A. anymore.” Like most experts, she uses the MAC 217 Brush to get some nice peach and light brown hueson her eyelids from her Too Faced Chocolate Bar Palette.
She then uses a Sephora curler to curl her lashes. For her cheeks, she uses the MAC 129 Brush to apply the Charlotte Tilbury Cheek to Chic Swish & Pop Blush in Ecstasy. To bronze some more, Kylie brushes a bit of the Charlotte Tilbury Filmstar Bronze & Glow Face Sculpt & Highlight onto the edges of her nose to make it appear thinner.
Her lips, of course, showcased stuff—this time, the muted pink Dolce shade—from the Kylie Lip Kit. She then applies the Charlotte Tilbury Charlotte’s Magic Cream (by now, we should know that Kylie loves her some Charlotte Tilbury) over her lips.
She finally sets all this makeup off with the Urban Decay All Nighter Long-Lasting Makeup Setting Spray. Yes, guys. Kylie said it only took her 20 minutes. Now we have to try it ourselves to see if it really does take only that long.
