For designer Kaye Morales, the streets are a place where you can be anyone you want to be.
Hence, her collection for Philippine Fashion Week spring/summer ’16 showcased a varied array of attention-grabbing streetwear pieces from leather ensembles, neon print pants, sleeveless denim coats to cartoon-print jackets, neon colors, and colorful patches. Welcome surprises like psychedelic-colored surfboards and neon, acrylic skateboards also highlighted the show.
Entitled Rebel, the collection and the show also served as Kaye’s coming out party. At the end of the show, she fearlessly revealed that she’s an out and proud lesbian.
