We’ve been watching model Andreja Pejic slay in the modeling industry since the time she was that ubiquitous androgynous model in 2008 right up until she came out and subsequently bagged a cosmetics contract with Make Up Forever last year—the first trans model to ever do so.

Now, her first magazine cover since she officially completed her transition to become a woman in 2014 is out for Marie Claire Spain. To think she’s got all this under her belt at 24 years old!

In an interview with US Vogue (Fashionista notes that she is the first trans model to be profiled by the fashion time) back in 2012, shortly after her sexual reassignment surgery, she said, “My career is just going to have to fall into place around it. So I hope that I can continue my success. I think I’ve shown that I have skills as a model, and those skills don’t just go away. I’ve had experience. I’ve been around the block.”

Take heart, Andreja. If your career is going anywhere, we’re pretty sure it’ll be onward and upward.
