Swedish Retailer Proves that Diversity is Possible on the Runway

Swedish retailer H&M just presented their Fall 2016 collection in Paris and we did not just notice the clothes. The retail brand showcased showcased diversity during Paris Fashion Week, proving that every age, body type, skin color, and gender identity should be celebrated. That being said, models like trans women Andreja Pejic and Hari Nef, and plus size model Ashley Graham walked the runway, along with Jourdan Dunn, Devon Windsor, and Soo Joo Park.

It further highlighted that the tailored pieces that vary in proportions, the daintiest lace, and even the number of prints look good on every woman. And isn’t that what we want in fashion anyway? It doesn’t hurt that it comes at affordable price points too. If you want a piece or two, the collection will be available globally on Sept 8 of this year.
