I have a feeling that we are soon going to say good-bye to staid office cubicles more and more in the next few years. The rise of co-creative spaces should be an indication along with more companies and jobs that no longer follow the traditional business model.
Just look at how Airbnb’s new office in Singapore doesn’t allow you to breathe the hip millennial air we’ve been intoxicated with but actually tries to reflect what the company is all about.
From indoor gardens to revamped bathtubs for tables, the office feels like a “trip around the world” as Vulcan Post describes. Taking you to minimalist East European business centers that show off big windows to quaint Cuban canteens boasting of mosaic bars and tall chairs, it’s a sight you wouldn’t mind to see everyday.
