This Limited-Edition Disney Collab Will Make You Fall In Love With ‘The Jungle Book’ Again

In line with the premiere of the film adaptation of The Jungle Book sometime this year, Paris-based brand Kenzo collaborated with Disney for their limited-edition collection that’s inspired by the movie.

The colorful men’s and women’s clothing contain prints from the original 1967 animated movie, which includes a print of Shere Khan on the signature Kenzo tiger sweatshirt. Kenzo co-creative director Carol Lim tells WWD that Kenzo Takada signature jungle-type style led to the collab with Disney.

“The tiger, all the references that he made led us to collaborate with Disney. We looked at the archival drawings of The Jungle Book as well as the new imagery and our tiger. We did a beautiful print mixing all these elements together. We put in on beautiful dresses, jackets, denim, jersey, sweatshirts―a bunch of different things,” she says.

The line will go on sale in select Kenzo stores and department stores on April 8. Meanwhile, for interested fashionistas overseas, you can get your hands on some pieces online starting April 7.
