Last night, Vogue announced who their cover girl was for the month of May and it’s no other than our favorite heartbreak songwriter-slash-pop star Taylor Swift. She looks great, and slightly different, as she posed in a number of embellished dresses while sporting a platinum blonde bob. The only thing that made it easy for us to recognize her was that signature red lip!
The cover story talks about Taylor sans her superstar status, as it takes us back to her hometown in Pennsylvania for the wedding of her best friend Brittany Maack LaManna where she served as the Maid of Honor.
It’s fitting, or I guess expected, for Taylor to land the cover, as she will be co-chair to this year’s Met Gala to be held on May 2. “I’m excited about being able to relax for the first time in ten years,” she shares when asked about what’s next.
Well, we still look forward to what you have in store, Tay because, you know, you never run out of tricks up your sleeve. For now, we’ll read your cover story.
