Here’s Why We Want to Live in the Olsen Twins’ First New York Boutique

Tucked away in the hustle and bustle of New York, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen offer a safe haven full of beautiful curated art and slick designs in the form of their new boutique for The Row. The store resides in 17 East 71st Street and invites you in with its brownstone homelike exterior, a rare fantasy in a fast-paced city. Promising three stories of an intimate shopping experience, they don’t disappoint. They created an open space that lets you naturally discover the collection on your own, one tasteful minimal blouse at a time.

The twins created this with the help of renowned French designer, Jacques Grange, who has worked with the likes of Monsieur Saint Laurent himself. Carefully selected pieces from Carlo Bugatti, Frank Lloyd Wright, Jean Royére, and ceramics by Masa Takayama, make up some of the stores museum-like pieces. However, it manages to maintain a feeling of warmth with its plush couches and low tables offering a place for you to simply refresh. With the clever mix of luxe and comfort, you’ll soon be wishing The Row was your new abode.
