Whenever I think of Gwyneth Paltrow, I’d think of strict clean eats and detox. Plus, she always looks so calm and happy. So when Goop posted a tour of her Tribeca apartment, it wasn’t surprising to see a dominantly white and ethereal space.
Designed by Roman and Williams Buildings and Interiors, the apartment is described to have “Pastel silks, hand-embroidered wallpapers, and cool swaths of marble punctuate the space, which balances centuries-old techniques and antiques with a confident, breezy modernism.”
According to Robin Standefer, principal of Roman and Williams, Gwyneth asked for “light delicate whites, palest lavenders, grays, silvers, embroidery details.” It’s so light that Gwyneth probably has an abundance of house slippers by the entrance.
Robin also enumerates other details of the home like the marble kitchen counters, silk pillows on an improvised chair-swing, and an English home-inspired foyer.
