Dubai-based Filipino designer Michael Cinco, whose clientele includes Tessa Prieto-Valdes and Lady Gaga, will be presenting his latest collection at Paris Fashion Week set later this year. He’s going to be the first-ever Filipino to stage a show at the prestigious week.
Aside from his own collection, he will also be presenting his collaboration with COUTURíSSIMO, showcasing luxury ready-to-wear items. We’re thinking sequined jackets and ruffled numbers for that quick jaunt to the mall.
Though local news sources have only recently picked up on the news, the announcement was already made public last May. In fact, the Asian Couture Federation held a dinner for Michael in celebration of the upcoming Paris show at The Palm, Dubai.
