Stand Tall with These Outfit Ideas from Isabelle Daza and Megan Young

As a petite woman, an outfit that can add a few inches to my height is always a huge deal for me. Being able to cheat your height with your clothes signifies that you know what you’ve got and just how to work with it. With little alteration here and there and a close attention to details like length and color, dressing with the idea to look taller signifies good taste as well.

Our celebrities are no stranger on how to do it, whether or not they have been naturally gifted with a towering figure, they still know how to go an inch further…or should we say higher?

Georgina Wilson

If cropped bomber jackets and high-waisted pants aren’t your thing, go for a more classic feminine trick like Georgina. Pair up your tiny dress (we hear the slip-on types are in this season) with a long coat to extend your legs. Strappy heels are a must as well to make your legs look longer.

Megan Young

For a dressier take on casual wear, a maxi skirt in a muted tone and small prints can easily make them think you’ve got long legs. Keep the other elements of your outfit within the color scheme of your skirt to provide a more elongated appearance.

Isabelle Daza

Monochrome dressing is a no-brainer way to have a statuesque figure. But don’t be fooled. As Isabelle shows us, you don’t have to stick to just a black and white palette. You can go for a nice green ensemble, just make sure the sleeves and hems end just where they should. On the other hand, the fit should be a little snug so you won’t drown in cloth.

Heart Evangelista

For a breezy day, a long-sleeved shirt dress may seem like nothing new. But Heart’s pick which has a front slit gives off the illusion of having longer legs. Adding a long necklace to the simple dress completes the whole illusion.

Kim Jones

If you choose to go a little over the top, bell hemmed pants and tall boots might just fit the bill. Kim steps into the ’70s with this look, topped with a blouse that shows off a little skin and an all-black theme to still keep everything chic.
