Beauty collabs are those things you don’t need. Trust me. When you’ve got your everyday look down, an eyeshadow palette or a lipstick chosen by your favorite celebrity or designer is a token. It’s that one step closer to their aesthetic or that little piece of their artistry you can put in your collection.
But needing and wanting are very different things. As beauty fiends, the line is very diffused and sometimes, cute packaging gets to us. Function trumps all of course. That makeup set preselected so I can look like my idol? Who says that’s not a necessity?
