Actress Jodi Sta. Maria was nominated for Best Actress at the International Emmy Awards for her portrayal of Amor Powers in Pangako Sa’yo. The awards night was held at the Hilton Hotel in New York and unfortunately Jodi lost the Best Actress award to German actress Christiane Paul.
But that didn’t stop Jodi from dressing to the nines and she really won us over in fashion—that white Mark Bumgarner gown was ace. She was styled by Patricia Coronado with her glam team Lala Flores and Jay Wee.
Just a few hours ago, Jodi also posted a long inspiring post thanking every single one who supported and prayed for her. It really was a memorable experience for Jodi and she was proud of sharing Filipino hospitality to the other attendees.
It’s cheesy, but I’ll say it anyway—her fashion lewk, that sweet post, and the fact that she made a mark for her fellow Filipino performers made her the winner!
