It’s a sad time for the fashion world. Two young designers, Donn Camilo Delantar and Charles Kenneth Anito, passed away this week.

Fellow designer Louis Claparols posted about it on Facebook. He tells us that he heard of Donn’s death in a newspaper article which reported on how he was found lifeless in his home. “I know Donn personally but I haven’t seen him in years,” Louis says. “I’m based abroad so I’m not really sure what happened.”

Meanwhile, full details of Kenneth’s death are still murky. Louis says that some claim Kenneth was sick. He also adds, “I have been asking people from Manila but no one is giving me a straight answer.”

We will update this article once more details come up.

Donn is known for creating tuxedos and evening gowns. He would often post photos of his unfinished projects like a blush pink wedding entourage dress and a Batik print fabric polo. He also creates swimsuits for Pink Beaches and those worn by Binibining Pilipinas candidates.

Kenneth, on the other hand, was an aspiring menswear designer. He recently showcased his autumn/winter collection “Metallizzato” at Pilipinas Men’s Fashion Week. Celebrities like Gary Valenciano and Binibining Pilipinas 2016 Maxine Medina also wore his creations.

So much potential gone so soon. Rest in peace, Donn and Kenneth.
