A One-Way Ticket to En Estrada’s Dreamy Wardrobe

En Estrada’s Instagram feed is like falling into a rabbit hole. The epitome of #goals—what with dreamy images taken all around the world’s best travel destinations, in the cutest, most covetable outfits—browse through once, and you can’t stop.

Going through her wardrobe is quite a similar experience. The perfect contrast between feminine and badass, En’s clothing ranges from sweet floral dresses, embellished boleros, little lace numbers, vintage Chanel to graphic tees, denim cutoffs, and Adidas sneakers. Heavy on foreign labels and one-of-a-kind pieces acquired from trips abroad, each one serves as a souvenir with a story behind it.

We caught up with the online influencer, swimwear and plant entrepreneur post-closet purge (evidence up on her virtual yard sale @prelovedbyenny—vintage and designer bargains, everyone) in her recently revamped room (that is as carefully-curated as her Instagram feed, btw). We talked everything style, design, travel, and how Marie Kondo is basically the light at the end of the tunnel for clothes hoarders, like myself. Scroll through the gallery and try not to pass out from all the perfection.

What’s keeping you busy these days?
We’re very excited for some things we’re cooking up for both ERE and Float Swimwear for the holidays! Add a dose of the good old nine to five of our family business plus a bit of traveling makes up a pretty interesting holiday schedule.

Describe your approach to style.
Sexy, badass girl.

Do you have any style rules you follow?
I believe that rules are there to be played with and [then be] broken. I love playing around and being rebellious at the same time. I wear what I feel like and I love pushing boundaries.

What are your shopping habits?
I love buying clothes when I travel so they have a story attached to them like my tattoos. I love pieces I cannot find anywhere else. I love the idea that having a vintage piece is like finding a treasure.

What was the last best thing you bought? How about the worst—something you regretted buying?
A shirt from Reformation that says “Emotional Tendencies.” (Laughs) And my new closet cabinet from IKEA. Regrets—see all clothes in my Instagram pre-loved online store: @prelovedbyenny #NoShame

Which brand is your latest discovery?
LPA! The ex-designer and creative director of Reformation’s new baby.

What item of clothing do you invest in? How about clothes you scrimp on?
Really, really, cute dresses and vintage tees from around the world. I scrimp on denim shorts.

Who are your favorite local and international designers? Any go-to labels?
Local: Martin Bautista, Boom Sason, Ziggy Savella, Vania Romoff
International: AYAI, Reformation, Catbird

Currently, Awoke Vintage. I only ever involve myself with brands I truly adore.

Who are your style inspirations?

What’s the best style advice you’ve ever received from your mother?
“A smile is the prettiest thing you can wear.”

What’s your guilty pleasure?
[Currently] the newly rebranded Playboy magazines!

If you had a signature styling trick, what would it be?
Live in a bikini all summer.
