Supermodel Naomi Campbell Was Almost Robbed in Paris in 2012

Naomi Campbell reveals that she also had a traumatizing experience in Paris back in 2012. She shared this on The Wendy Williams Show while they were talking about Kim Kardashian’s robbery last October.

Naomi says it happened when she arrived to Paris to see longtime friend, designer Azzedine Alaïa. While they were driving to his store, Naomi noticed that she didn’t recognize her chauffeur and the car’s windows were rolled down all throughout the ride.

When they arrived, men opened her car door and started to threaten her. “They followed me from the airport. They attacked me. They opened my car door and said, ‘Naomi Campbell, we’re going to kill you,'” Naomi recounts. She adds that she couldn’t get away as the driver was also involved.

At that moment, Naomi thought, “You decide in a split moment — I don’t know if I’d ever do this again, in hindsight — ‘Am I going to let this guy take my bag with all my passports, or am I going to fight for it?'” Good thing Azzedine’s home was just behind the store and the shop attendants helped her out. Whew!

When asked why she never spoke about this before, Naomi simply said that she didn’t want to go public about it.

We’re glad that nothing happened to Naomi that time and that she’s still working as a model today.
