Who Wants to Wear Miss Bulgaria’s Miss Universe Gown to Prom?

Updated on Feb. 1, 2017, 11:07 a.m.

Miss Bulgaria Violina Ancheva has donated her Sherri Hill gown to a lucky 15-year-old girl.

Violina received a message from single mom Issay Gallano who said that she’s unable to buy a prom dress for her daughter. The two met yesterday at Conrad Hotel before Violina left Manila. “I know how she feels and I’m happy I gave it to you, and your daughter will have the best dress of the evening,” Violina tells Issay.

Issay then posted a photo of her daughter Zhyra wearing the dress. You can see how happy the teen is while posing in it.

You have a good heart, Violina. We’re sure Zhyra will look like a star at her prom.

Miss Bulgaria Violina Ancheva wrote a touching post on her Facebook page announcing that she would love to give the gown she wore during the Miss Universe pageant as a gift to someone who needs it. Most especially with the prom season coming up.

As of writing, she still hasn’t announced who she will be giving the dress to, but I bet that young girl will be thrilled. She just had one simple requirement and that is to write her a personal message sharing all the details. The original post currently has more than 115,000 likes and 19,547 shares, while the photo that Inquirer posted is at 9,700 likes and 965 shares.

This is definitely a way to put the dress to good use after the big coronation night. Thank you, Violina and we’re looking forward to your announcement on who gets to wear the dress for prom.
