Breast Cancer Survivors Walk a Lingerie Show at NYFW

Lingerie brand AnaOno Intimates casted breast cancer survivors for their New York Fashion Week show.

In an impactful move to spread awareness for breast cancer, 16 women of various ages and body types confidently walked the runway in lingerie while adorn with glitter and body paint. Some women also showed off their mastectomy and breast reconstruction scars, which we think is brave and they all looked beautiful.

Designer and breast cancer survivor Dana Donofree started AnaOno for women with breast cancer. The bras are wire-free to prevent discomfort and pain for women who’ve undergone surgery. The robes also have pockets to place a drain belt during post-op.

All the proceeds from the show will go to non-profit organization Cancerland to help out breast cancer patients with their treatments and medication.
