Heart Evangelista always finds ways to express her creativity. She’s an actress and an accomplished painter, but her medium goes far beyond the usual. Yes, she paints on canvas as seen in her works featured during Art Fair Philippines 2016 to her current project called “In Full Bloom.”
Heart is also known for painting on designer bags. Not just on any other bag, but on Hermès Birkins and Kellys. What started out as a personal project now became an unexpected business. We hear that a lot of her close friends and set of clientele would request to have their designer bags painted by her. Now she ventures out to another form of canvas and those are chairs by Philux, a furniture manufacturer and retailer in Manila known for their simple yet luxurious designs. Head of sales and marketing Stephanie Kienle-Gonzalez posted a teaser on her Instagram page with the caption “Art on a chair.”
This must be the project that Heart was working on when she posted a video of her painting on a chair a few weeks back. Now we connect the dots!
