Fashion Blogger Kim Jones Is Apparently a Beauty Junkie

One look at model/host Kim Jones, and it’s easy to see why actor Jericho Rosales gets all googly-eyed when he looks at her. The girl is gorgeous and her aura radiates the kind of good vibes that pretty young things give off because they don’t worry about things like blemishes or bad hair days. Except Kim does worry about these things—she’s just better at hiding it.

In the video above, she shows us a beauty secret or two inside her gorgeously lit bathroom—with a ginormous walk-in closet!

SKINCARE
Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Sunscreen is light enough to wear under your makeup and you don’t get that greasy feeling—and I’ve tried a LOT of sunscreens.

La Mer Regenerating Serum works so well for my skin, especially because my skin gets some pretty rough treatment being outdoors and in studios. My skin drinks it up and it’s worked wonders for my skin. It’s a splurge but my skin loves it.”

HAIR
“My Bumble & bumble Thickening Hairspray is a great product for someone like me who often wakes up with limp, flat hair. It’s perfect for when I want to have that beachy, messy hair.”

MAKEUP
Sephora Liquid Eyeliner is shaped to fit your hand perfectly, making it incredibly easy to apply. It’s also the kind that you can apply just once and it doesn’t smudge or run—also a blessing in our humid country.

MAC lipsticks are the best for me. They’re honestly my favorite beauty product. MAC’s Matte and Satin collections are my favorites. Strong, vibrant colors work best for me, my favorites being Rebel, Diva, Cyber, and Lady Danger. I’ve been using those shades for years and love them so much I’ll plan my outfit around my shade for that day.

Using the Camouflage Crème by Derma Color from Kryolan is a tip I learnt from makeup artist Mayesa Delos Santos. It comes in different colors and each color camouflages different tones in the skin, primarily I use green for red tones (blemishes, pimples) and orange for purple tones (dark circles). Sometimes, if I have meetings or I’ll be out the whole day, I use only those two products—no foundation or concealer. You can use as little or as much as you want and you can mix the colors so it blends perfectly on your skin. It’s the kind of product you want to tell all your friends about.”

FITNESS
“I’m always moving, as much as I possibly can. I tend to get bored at gyms—I admire people who can get themselves up at 5 a.m. to work out at 6 a.m. and then start their day. I’m not that person. I love interaction so sports are the best for me, whether it be soccer or skating or more recently, hiking. When I’m pressed for time I pop Insanity in my laptop and sweat it out with my dogs loyally next to me.”

SCENTS
“I’m loyal to my perfume scents. Once I find one, I tend to stick to it. I rotate between Miss Dior Cherie and Bulgari Rose Essentielle, which is unfortunately discontinued and has lead to me scouring airports for one the few last remaining bottles.

Candles are everywhere in our house, and we switch them around to breathe life into our spaces. I alternate between Diptyque Baies, Astier De Villatte Broadway, and Voluspa Crane Flower.”
