Nicolas Ghesquière’s Right Hand Woman Confirmed for Top Fashion Position

Chloé recently confirmed that Natacha Ramsay-Levi will be their new creative director starting Apr. 3. This settles months of rumors as big name brands are still shuffling new people in top positions, catapulting a new breed of designers into the spotlight.

Natacha is currently senior director for womenswear at Louis Vuitton, a postion she was appointed to by Nicolas Ghesquière. The two have a long working relationship together as Natacha worked with Nicolas at Balenciaga for 11 years. Natacha also previously served other labels like Hermés and Acne Studios. She worked her way to the top, starting out as an intern and even serving coffee until she became a consultant. Dreams do come true, if you’re willing to put the hours in.

Her first show for Chloé will be at the spring/summer ’17 presentation of Paris Fashion Week.

Natacha is the eighth creative director of Chloé, not counting founder Gaby Aghion. Preceding Natacha are fashion icons Karl Lagerfeld, Stella McCartney, and Phoebe Philo.
