Last week, a co-writer and I had a brief conversation about how nifty mini-lipsticks are. I’m not one to buy small lipsticks as I want to use more product for longer periods. However, she did make a point that small-sized lip products can get you far, especially if you’re someone who can’t finish a whole tube of lipstick. This also prevents you from dealing with dried-up liquid lipsticks you didn’t use for who knows how long. Plus, they save space in your makeup pouch.

ColourPop Mini Ultra Matte Lip
If you’ve ever owned a ColourPop Ultra Matte or two, you’ll know that it has a lot of product, but it’s not for everyday wear because of how drying they can be. Luckily, the brand came up with mini versions of the Ultra Mattes and sells them in five-piece kits—Foxy and It’s Vintage. Not only does this give you more options, but you won’t feel bad about wasting product even if you don’t use this often. Available online.
Benefit Cosmetics They’re Real! Double the Lip Mini
Benefit’s own “lip kit” now comes in a compact version. The product is a lip liner and lipstick in one which makes it easier for you to create fuller-looking lips in a sec. Available at Sephora PH.
LAQA & CO Fiver Lip Kit
Known for their avocado oil-infused lipsticks, LAQA & CO offers a lipstick set which they claim is a “lip pencil like lipstick.” We don’t know how they did it either, but the crayon-like product is said to be pigmented for a dramatic look. Available at Glorietta 4.
Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution Mini Lipstick Trio
These mini lipsticks are an homage to Hollywood glam. Amazing Grace, a tea rose shade, is inspired by Grace Kelly; Very Victoria plays on Victoria Beckham’s signature nude lip; and Red Carpet Red is the go-to red that every star wears. Aside from making your lips look full, it also has the orchid extract to protect and soothe the lips for a smooth finish. Available at Nordstrom.
Ofra Mini Liquid Lipstick
Despite having a matte formula, Ofra’s Mini Liquid Lipstick will leave your lips moisturized after each use. It also has antioxidants and vitamin E, so you definitely don’t have to worry about dry lips. Available at Zalora.
TheBalm Meet Matt(e) Hughes
If you want a mini lipstick that smells like candy, TheBalm Meet Matt(e) Hughes has a vanilla-mint scent that’ll stick when you apply it. The shades are in the pink and red family and promises to be comfortable on the lips. Available at Beauty Bar.
Happy Skin x Love Marie Shut Up & Kiss Me Mini Matte Lippie
As part of their collab with Heart Evangelista, Happy Skin came out with a mini version of their best-selling lipstick. It’s easy to use since it looks like a small crayon, and it’s infused with shea butter which hydrates and heals your lips. Available at Glorietta 3.
