Bench is opening their first international branch in Okinawa, Japan. This quickly follows the success of their first Bench Fashion Week.
Owner Ben Chan said to Inquirer Lifestyle that the store will open this month.
Bench is no stranger to the Japanese market. Last year, it was part of Tokyo Fashion Week as the Philippines’ representative in the “Asian Fashion Meets Tokyo” initiative. The brand will be in Tokyo again this year, along with three chosen designers who will be the winners of the Bench Design Awards in September.
The Okinawa branch will be the first time a Philippine fashion brand opened an independent store overseas. Congratulations, Bench!
