Groupon UK created this new edible nail polish to celebrate Mother’s Day and at the same time, our love for manicures and sparkling wine. The gold and yellow varnish features gold specs that allow your nails to look like the real deal—and it smells and tastes like it, too as it is infused with prosecco. Now you’ll never have to buy a bottle for yourself or run to the nearest bar just to get your favorite drink. You can enjoy it anytime, anywhere. Just promise us to not drink it!
This may be the first prosecco-flavored polish, but it’s not the first flavored nail polish. Last year, KFC Hong Kong released two chicken-flavored nail polish, original and hot & spicy. Is this the new trend in beauty—for you to be able to taste food, or at least smell it, on your body? I’d rather pass and have the real thing myself. Just think about all the germs you come in contact with.
Unfortunately, the nail polish will only be available in the UK and won’t be sold online. But if you really want your fix, we suggest you make yourself a Lemonade Moscato cocktail in the meantime.
