Similar to your home, you must also mix scents that won’t be too overpowering. In short: don’t combine strong notes. Another great thing about this is that you get to customize your personal fragrance. “The scent is familiar, but not quite—no one else has the exact blend,” perfumer Julia Zangrili tells Refinery29.
