This International Coffee Chain Now Serves Matcha Pudding

Get your spoons ready because Starbucks just added Matcha Pudding to their food menu. The international coffee chain has been drawing crowds not just for their drinks, but now also for a food item and we can’t blame them. Unfortunately, we need to book a flight to get a cup of our own.

Starbucks Japan dropped the announcement on their social media platforms on April 1, which left a lot of customers thinking that it was an April Fool’s joke. Imagine their relief when they visited the store and it was actually on the shelves ready to be devoured?

It’s described as smooth and creamy with the perfect bittersweet punch of the green tea powder. You can also opt to add a dollop of whipped cream if you wish. One tub is priced at about P145, so be sure to try it out if ever you’re in Japan.

In the meantime, I’m thinking of having Green Tea Frappuccino today to satiate the craving.
