The Latest Uniqlo UT x KAWS x ‘Peanuts’ Collab Drops Today

What does it feel like when you are able to see and touch the clothes but can’t purchase them just yet? Well, whatever it is, I felt it last Wednesday during the preview of Uniqlo’s newest UT section at SM Megamall—their biggest store yet. And the merch that I can’t purchase is KAWS’ second collaboration with the Japanese brand.

KAWS is an artist and designer based in New York and he has a cult (if not already mainstream) following. He started out as a street graffiti artist, he also worked on adverts, and then moved on to sculptures, prints, and acrylic paintings. The Mickey Mouse humanoid with x-ed out eyes? Yes, that’s his and is one of his most recognized artworks.

His latest collection features Snoopy and the gang from Peanuts interpreted in various shirt and tote designs that can be worn every day. It drops on this very day all over the world—April 28, 2017.

KAWS x Peanuts collab, along with other designs like Futura, Star Wars Artists Collection, The Brands (they have shirts that have Kellogg’s logos on them, I die), Lego, Marvel, Rock Squad, and Capitol 75th (Jazz record covers) is available at the newest UT section starting today. So if you’re a fan, then you better go and line up for it.
