Hit Subscribe: Anna Wintour and Gwyneth Paltrow Will Create a New Magazine

It all started with a casual conversation between Goop founder and CEO Gwyneth Paltrow and Condé Nast artistic director and Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour. Now there’s a new magazine in the works.

The magazine, also dubbed as Goop, is conceptualized as a collectible and will be released quarterly. The first issue will hit newsstands this September and as expected it will cover topics on health, wellness, fitness, recipes, style, design, and travel.

The new collaboration will not just stop with a magazine, but will also include digital content that will come out on various Condé Nast websites, Goop’s website, and their social media platforms.

“Anna is a powerhouse, and one of the most admirable thought-leaders in media,” Gwyneth told WWD. “Collaborating with her and Condé Nast on this multiplatform content partnership, anchored by Goop’s emergence into a physical entity, was an opportunity for us to push our boundaries visually and deliver Goop’s point of view to consumers in new, dynamic ways.”

To throw the compliment back (just kidding), Anna said, “I’ve long known Gwyneth to have wonderful taste and vision—but with Goop she has built something remarkable, a thoroughly modern take on how we live today.” Anna is also glad that Gwyneth is taking her vision to greater sights aka partnering up with a publishing powerhouse.

Now we’re waiting so we can hit subscribe. We do want a healthy and stylish life after all—complete with ginger turmeric lattes.
