Embrace Sweater Weather like Anne Curtis, Julia Barretto, and Camille Co

One thing I love about the monsoon season is how it gives you an endless excuse to bust out sweaters. For someone who lives in a tropical climate, I’m surprised at how many sweaters I have. From thick ones I pack for travel to everyday cozy ones I wear with jeans and skirts, and even colorful ones to spice up the usual pickings—I want them all. They also come in handy when the office AC is turned all the way up and I feel like I’m working in an igloo. (I exaggerate, but you get it.)

Anne Curtis and Camille Co have been feeling it lately with their sweater choices. Julia Barretto is even sporting one for her Scout Magazine cover. See? The piece is so versatile and stylish.

So guess what we’re up to? Yes, sweater shopping. Here are our picks:

Paul Smith Navy Cashmere Sweater With Monkey Embroidery

There is always space for a navy sweater. This season, Paul Smith is reworking staples with the monkey print. How cute is this one with the monkey just hanging about in the middle? Available online.

H&M Sweater

I’d wear this on my way to the gym with my sports bra underneath and with some leggings on. This sweater is the right amount of comfort but falls right in line with an athleisure look. Available at SM Makati.

American Eagle Outfitters Bell-Sleeve Cold Shoulder Sweater

Since we still get sunshine in between torrential rains, we can still play around with the typical sweater silhouette. This one is a great option for a casual look with a pair of jeans and some dangling earrings. Available at Bonifacio High Street.

Marc Jacobs Spot Printed Oversized Sweater

An oversized sweater is great when you want to feel extra cozy. If you want, you can even pull it off as a sweater dress. This one from Marc Jacobs with the black and white print might just do the trick. Available online.

Tory Burch Embroidered Sweater

This list wouldn’t be complete without a black sweater. But if you need a dash of sparkle, this one brings it with embroidered details. The design might just see you through the Christmas season too. Available via Farfetch.
