Last month, Laverne Cox confirmed that she and Queen B were collaborating on a project. There were no details or hints revealed until today. With the release of Ivy Park’s autumn/winter 2017 campaign, Laverne is one of four new faces for the brand. In the video, she is joined by models Grace Mol and Ralph Souffrant as well as dancer Karen McDonald.
In a press release, Beyoncé shares the essence of the campaign, “The message of this campaign is to celebrate everyone’s uniqueness. True beauty and power are born out of strength of character and defined from the inside out. There is no standard of beauty.”
The collection features both bold and muted colors spread across different pieces. There are leggings, hoodies, hats, tops, and more to choose from.
Laverne shared her excitement on Instagram, posting a photo with the caption, “I feel tingly getting to finally share this beautiful new campaign with you all. It’s about being free. Listening and moving without judgment or limitation.”
