From unicorn elixirs to crystal-infused makeup products, makeup trends and collections are getting more creative. Another trend we’ve been seeing is the outpour of makeup collaborations. Not just with celebrities but with movie and cartoon franchises as well. In the past there have been Mac and The Simpsons collections as well as Spiderman and Revlon. The trend is still going on as we’ve listed some that you can buy today.
Happy Skin x Sanrio Characters
We’ve talked about how Hello Kitty is treated as a celebrity, so much so that she and other Sanrio characters have collaborated with Happy Skin for a 23-piece collection. Aside from Hello Kitty, they also have products inspired by My Melody and Little Twin Stars. The collection features liquid lipsticks, nail polish, makeup wipes, blotting paper, blush, and sponges. The Face Shop x Trolls
With a throwback to the ’90s, Trolls was released late last year. The Face Shop took advantage of this animated film by launching a makeup collection inspired by Trolls. Aside from concealer and lipsticks, they have hair care products. You can get hair serums and treatment creams that have coconut oil and sunflower seed oil. Available at Glorietta 3.
PERIPERA x Powerpuff Girls
More childhood nostalgia for makeup lovers out there with this collaboration between PERIPERA and Powerpuff Girls. The collection has cushion cream, several lip products, mascara, hand cream, and eyeshadow palettes inspired by each of the grisl. Available on Amazon.
LA Splash Cosmetics x Disney Villains
There are makeup products for superheroes and princesses but there is now one for villains too. A newly launched lipstick collection from LA Splash will remind you of your favorite Disney villains. There are five shades namely, Ursula, D’vil, Evil Queen, Stepmother, and Queen of Hearts. Pick your favorite vampy shade in time for Halloween. Available online.
L’Oréal x Beauty and the Beast
If Belle is your favorite Disney Princess, you will love this collection from L’Oreal. There are several lipstick and nail polish shades to choose from.
