With the use of social media, we are constantly consuming content from photos to videos and even GIFs. I’m sure there are Instagram accounts that you follow that are pure feed goals. From carefully designed flat lays to creative shoefies, these accounts might be your pegs. If you follow Beyoncé on Instagram, you’ll know that she puts a lot of effort into her OOTD posts. So much so that we’ve made a list of tips that you can use for your own feed.
Know your poses
When Beyoncé posts OOTD photos, she doesn’t just stick to one pose. She serves us a portfolio’s worth of poses. She knows her angles and how to work them. When taking your own outfit photos, try different poses and see which ones work best for you and flaunt your outfit well too.
Make a music video
Leave it to Queen Bey to share short clips as part of her OOTDs. In some of her posts you will see a mix of photos and videos with music playing in the background. If you have a little more time, you can edit your own short videos as well. This gives you the opportunity to use your creativity and skills.
Use patterned borders
A recurring theme in Beyoncé’s outfit posts is the use of patterned backgrounds. The photos are either placed against these backgrounds or she is dropped out and scattered against the patterns. You can pick backgrounds that match the color palette of your clothes to complement the photos. These also act as borders, making your posts more eye-catching.
Get the family involved
In some of her OOTD pictures, Beyoncé is joined by husband Jay-Z and daughter Blue Ivy. They can be seen dancing at parties, wearing matching outfits, and posing for the camera.
Flaunt your accessories
The accessories you wear can make or break your outfit. In Beyoncé’s case she likes to show off her accessories as much as the other pieces she has on. Photos show details of bags, sunglasses, shoes, and belts.
