New York-based label Coach Inc. is changing its name to Tapestry. The decision was made so that their other brands like Kate Spade and Stuart Weitzman are more included.
CEO Victor Luis said, “We are now at a defining moment in our corporate reinvention, having evolved from a mono-brand specialty retailer to a true house of emotional, desirable brands.” Tapestry will be more inclusive and will cater to younger shoppers.
The change of Coach Inc. to Tapestry will be official at the end of the month but for now you can already visit their website. On the site, they describe theas, “A global house of brands powered by optimism, innovation, and inclusivity. We believe true luxury is a freedom of expression that ignites confidence and authenticity.”
