Billie Joe Armstrong of Green Day (Yes, him) should know a thing or two about eyeliners that can last intense and sweat-heavy concerts. He’s one of the few who rocked guyliner back in our, uhm, early days. So why did it take him this long to develop said product with fellow eyeliner guru Kat Von D?
Regardless, they are doing it now. Kat Von D has teased the said collaboration named Basket Case, named after one of Green Day’s big hits. It is a liquid pen type eyeliner that is said to be similar to her best-selling Tattoo Liner. We are excited because between the thick lines Billie prefers and the sharp cat flick Kat often has, it looks like we’re covered when it comes to our eye makeup concerns.
No release date has been announced for the product. But it’s not going to matter. Combined with our sense of nostalgia for the days we sang to Green Day and our love of makeup, consider us first in line for this.
