Rajo Laurel’s Holiday Collection Was Inspired by Childhood Memories

Let’s reminisce for a second, let’s go back to memories from when we were five years old. What do you remember? Watching Saturday morning cartoons maybe? Or spending hours at a toy store? For Rajo Laurel, instead of looking at trends, he used his childhood memories as inspiration for his latest holiday collection.

Rajo! and House of Laurel’s When I Was 5 collection boasts of vibrant jewel tones like green, magenta, blue, plum, and blush. The garments also have touches of gold and silver for added sparkle and shine. A holiday outfit wouldn’t be complete without luxe materials like silk, tulle, taffeta, and brocades. For embellishments, the pieces feature bead work and detailed embroidery. If you want to make a statement, pick from ruffled sleeves, big bows, and voluminous skirts. Although following the same theme, pieces from Rajo! are more casual and can be incorporated into every day looks. Clothes from House of Laurel have more drama and are statement garments that you can add to your wardrobe.

When I Was 5  by Rajo! Will be available at Power Plant Mall and Shangri-La Plaza on Nov. 17. You can also shop the pieces from House of Laurel at 6013 Villena Corner Mañalac Street, Barangay Poblacion, Makati City on Nov. 11.
