They say imitation is the best form flattery so Yeezy is definitely doing something right. With Kim Kardashian klones walking the streets to promote Yeezy Season 6, one brand is being accused of ripping them off. Diet Prada posted side by side photos of Yeezy’s latest collection with Missguided’s, which is aptly named “The New Essentials: Season 1.”
The collection consists of white, gray, and camel colored pieces that are pretty much identical to Yeezy Season 6. There are crop tops, dresses, sweaters, biker shorts, and even sock boots. The styling is also dead on as they feature a model with long blonde hair, just like Kimmie.
How did Missguided promote their new collection? With an Instagram post which they captioned, “Kim K lifestyle, lemonade money. Shop The New Essentials: Season 1 online now.” Inspiration is one thing but this is taking it too far.
