NYFW Beauty Looks Were a Mix of Bold Colors and Orange Blush

Spring/summer 2018 fashion shows and presentations have started for New York Fashion Week. Aside from the ready-to-wear collections, we’ve been drawn to the different makeup looks. Depending on the clothes, designers have gone for either bold colors, smokey eye makeup, or high shine.

Jeremy Scott – MAC x Jeremy Scott Lip X 9: Future Emotions

Jeremy Scott’s show was also a debut of his latest collaboration with MAC. The model’s colorful outfits were complemented by vibrant makeup. To achieve their bright pink lips, use the lip palette from the MAC x Jeremy Scott collection. You can even mix the colors to create your own shade.

Tom Ford – Burberry Beauty Eye Colour Contour Pen in Stone Grey

The models at the Tom Ford show had on black eyeshadow that was blended out for a smokey look. Create this on-the-go with Burberry’s contour pen and a blending brush. It has a dome tip that will fit the natural curve of your eyes. Start off with a small amount and build to your desired smokiness.

Proenza Schouler – Glossier Lip Gloss

Proenza Schouler brought the high shine gloss trend to the runway. Get the same crystal clear shine with Glossier’s lip gloss. You can us it on it’s own or layer it over your favorite lipstick.

Adam Selman – J.Cat Love Struck Blush + Bronzer in Pumpkin

The defining aspect of the model’s makeup for Adam Selman were their sculpted cheekbones and orange blush. If you’re a fan of this look, aaply J.Cat’s Love Struck Blush + Bronzer in Pumpkin. It has orange and pink shades that you can mix and brush generously on your face.

Red Valentino – NYX Matte Liquid Liner

Bored of your regular eyeliner application? Take some inspiration from Red Valentino’s models. Using a gel or liquid liner, create a curved line following your natural crease. Once you’re happy with the shape, draw a wing connecting your upper lash line to the crease.
