The Oscars red carpet didn’t just give us great celebrity fashion. Our favorite cult beauty brand Glossier also officially launched the Lidstar, a liquid eyeshadow with six shimmery shades and costs $18 each.
Glittery lids were also spotted on recent runway shows such as Marc Jacobs and Oscar De La Renta. Instead of using loose pigment or powder shadows, you can also achieve this look with liquid eyeshadows like Lidstar.
The sad news though is that Glossier Lidstar isn’t available in the Philippines just yet. (Unless you know someone who can buy it for you.) But if you want a similar effect, we’ve listed affordable dupes for you!
Jordana Made to Last Liquid Eyeshadow
The shade range on the Made to Last Liquid Eyeshadow includes nude browns and pinks to complement any skin tone. It also has 16-hour wear and it’s non-tacky, making it easy to blend seamlessly on the lid. Available at SM Makati.

J.Cat Holographic 3D Eye Topper
If you’re not over the holo trend yet, then you can swipe on this eye topper from J.Cat. It’s a lightweight glittery product that will add dimension to any eye look. For a less intense shine, you can apply it on its own. Available at Uptown Mall.
Sephora Collection Outrageous Eyeshadow
Made with micro-pearlescent particles and pigment, the Outrageous Eyeshadows have a long-lasting metallic effect. Just swipe it on your lid and blend it with a brush or your finger. Available on Sephora PH.
Pixi Liquid Fairy Lights
Aside from giving you a smooth and shiny color, Pixi’s Liquid Fairy Lights is also made with chamomile and rose extracts. This helps soothe and hydrate your lids. So you’ll get a beautiful eyeshadow color and skincare in one! Available on Glamour Box.
NYX Lid Lingerie
Just like their famous Lip Lingerie liquid lipstick, the Lid Lingerie also comes with a creamy, lightweight formula. The only difference they have with their lipstick counterpart is that they’re pearlescent and have a mix of nude and pastel shades. Available at SM Megamall.
Peripera Liquid Glitter Shadow
This glittery product promises a shiny base and hydrating formula without the grainy feeling. Some even prefer to use this on their lower lash line because of how smooth it is. Available on Beauty Box Korea.
