Fashion Month has officially come to a close but not before a truly spectacular show. Opening Ceremony took a different approach for their spring 2018 collection. Their fashion show called “The Happiest Show On Earth” took place in the happiest place on earth, Disneyland in California.
According to Nylon, the Disney-themed collection was made to celebrate Mickey’s 90th birthday. The models walked the street of Disneyland’s Toontown is Mickey-inspired clothes, dresses that had mouse ear-like sleeves, and other bright pieces.
Celebrities like Chance the Rapper were present and even had a photo op with Mickey.
To close the show, designers Carol Lim and Humberto Leon were joined by Mickey and Minnie decked out in complementary green outfits.
This collection brings back memories of our childhood but with a streetwear twist and we’re here for it!
