The Bold Eyeshadow Shade that Kim Kardashian Is Obsessed With

When Kim Kardashian debuted her KKW Beauty collaboration with Mario Dedivanovic, people couldn’t get enough of the eyeshadow palette. Particularly, the cobalt blue shade that was seen all over Kim’s eyelids and waterlines.

That said, when beauty vlogger got their PR kits, they instantly reviewed the collection. Most of them also incorporated the blue eyeshadow in their looks. At that moment, you know that this color will become a beauty trend soon.

But KKW Beauty isn’t the only brand that’s bringing blue shadows to the forefront. Patrick Starrr is coming out with one too via his second MAC collection. Nadine Lustre also included a light blue shadow for Lustrous. Here’s how they sported the shades:

The blue eyeshadow trend isn’t new as it was also big in the ’90s. Even though it’s considered one of “the most embarrassing” beauty trends, it’s obviously coming back bolder than ever. If you’re looking for a striking color to use this summer, it might be time to cop a few blue eyeshadows. So we made a list to make it easier for you.

Natasha Denona Matte Eyeshadow in Koh Tao

Koh Tao is a highly pigmented sky blue eyeshadow with a matte finish. This is best applied with a blending brush on the eyelid. You can even feather it out to soften the color a bit. Available on Sephora PH.

MAC x Patrick Starrr Play With Me Eyeshadow

This four-shade palette is included in the Me So Fleek kit. It has a royal blue eyeshadow which Patrick used on his lid and waterline. The palette also has pink and fuchsia shades to add more dimension to your look. Available at select MAC counters on May 2018.

NYX Ultimate Multi-Finish Shadow Palette in Electric

If you want matte, shimmery, and metallic shades in one palette, this one’s for you. The Ultimate Multi-Finish Shadow Palette comes with four shades from light blue to teal. You can go monochromatic and just use all the textures of the blue shade. Or you can mix and match if you’re feeling creative. Available at SM Aura Premier.

Sugar Pill Little Twin Stars Eyeshadow Palette

Sugar Pill recently collaborated with Sanrio for a Little Twin Stars-inspired palette. This includes a matte aqua and foiled silver-blue shades that you can put all over your eyes. For added shimmer and color, dip into the other shades like pink, bronze, and gold. This is also limited-edition so order now before it’s gone! Available online.

KKW Beauty x Mario Dedivanovic Eyeshadow Palette

Get your hands on the KKW Beauty x Mario Dedivanovic if you want the same cobalt blue shade that Kim loves oh so much. Another trick you can do is to apply the neutral and brown shades on your lids and put the blue on your lower lash line. Available online on April 5.

Lustrous Eyeshadow Palette in Luna

Luna has shimmery mermaid shades including periwinkle and turquoise shades that you can pair together. But, as we mentioned in our review, it’s still important to contour the eyes with a matte eyeshadow before laying down the shimmers. You can also incorporate the purple and gray shades to add more dimension, and intensify your eye look with the blue eyeliner. Available at select Watsons stores on April 15.
