We Figured Out the Makeup Meghan Markle Might Use For the Royal Wedding

Can you believe that the Royal Wedding is happening tomorrow? (7:30 p.m. Philippine time. Set your alarms!) For the past months, we’ve been on our toes for the details of the wedding—from the cake flavors to Queen Elizabeth II’s wedding gift. Of course, there are also some things that are still under wraps like Meghan Markle’s wedding dress designer and her makeup look. We’re here to talk about the latter.

There are rumors that Meghan will do her own makeup for her wedding, which isn’t new since Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton did the same. The bride will also reportedly have her two best friends help out with her look. That said, many are already speculating on the products that Meghan will use for the big day. We’ve listed some of them so you cop them too.

Talika Eye Therapy Patches

Meghan’s makeup artist Lydia Sellers told Byrdie that she likes using these eye patches on herself and her clients. “I love them because they actually work. There are many under-eye patches out there that you may or may not see results from, but I honestly feel like these patches reduce puffiness instantly after ten minutes,” she said. According to Talika’s site, each patch is formulated with ceramides for restructuring and moisturizing, various plant oils for replenishing, and shea butter to soothe under-eye puffiness. Available on SkinStore.

Laura Mercier Radiance Foundation Primer

This primer is Meghan’s go-to product, and she told Beauty Banter (as cited by InStyle) that she likes applying this over her moisturizer. She admitted that she doesn’t wear foundation a lot, so she likes to “amplify her glow.” But this primer will still give you that glow-from-within look under foundation. Available at Rustan’s The Beauty Source.

Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation

Lydia shared to Hello! Magazine that Meghan loves using the Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation. This product is also Kim Kardashian-approved and we totally get it as the foundation leaves the skin looking flawless and silky. It’s also suitable for any skin type and has sheer to moderate coverage. Available on Nordstrom.

ICONIC London Illuminator

To amp up her foundation a bit, Lydia would suggest Meghan to mix it with a few drops of ICONIC London’s Illuminator. “These can be added to ensure naturally glowing skin that defines her gorgeous bone structure,” she told Hello!. But in case Meghan doesn’t to mix this with her foundation, she can still use this as a highlighter. Available on Cult Beauty.

Bobbi Brown Retouching Wand

Remember that video of Meghan doing her makeup at the back of an Uber with makeup artist Bobbi Brown? If you haven’t seen it, Meghan was using various shades of the Retouching Wand to prepare for a meeting. She used it to spot-conceal and brighten up some parts of her face. The result was natural-looking skin thanks to the products’ creamy and blendable formula. Available at SM Megamall.

NARS Blush in Orgasm

It almost seems like everyone and their grandmother is obsessed with this blush shade. Meghan told Beauty Banter that she likes how it gives her “a perfect rosy flush.” Available at Adora, Greenbelt 5.

Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution Lipstick in Very Victoria

For lipstick, Meghan reportedly likes this low-key and versatile Charlotte Tilbury shade. Very Victoria is a rosy-brown color and was inspired by Victoria Beckham, who’s also attending the Royal Wedding. According to Charlotte Tilbury’s website, the Matte Revolution line is enriched with ingredients like orchid and lipstick tree extracts to keep lips hydrated. It’s also made with 3D pigments to create the illusion of fuller lips. Available on Bergdorf Goodman.

Essie Nail Polish in Ballet Slippers

Queen Elizabeth II has been using this pale pink shade for almost 30 years now so it’s no surprise that Essie is a royal favorite. Meghan was also spotted rocking the same shade to complement her shiny engagement ring. Since members of the Royal Family are discouraged from using bold nail polish colors, Ballet Slippers is the perfect nude pink for any occasion. Available at Rustan’s The Beauty Source.
