Sephora makes their Classes for Confidence more inclusive

Sephora has been offering Classes for Confidence for a couple of years but they are set to start new offerings of beauty classes for the transgender and non-binary community. The original initiative launched in 2016 with “classes for Workforce and Brave Beauty in the Face of Cancer.” Their newest category will be called, “Bold Beauty for the Transgender Community.”

According to Nylon, they will be “hosted and developed by Sephora’s own transgender employees.” Those who will attend “can expect to receive skincare regimens tailored to their specific needs, application techniques for creating smooth texture and color-correcting areas of concerns, as well as best practices for creating a flawless complexion using Sephora’s Color iQ system for scientifically-precise product recommendations.” Sephora will also have tutorials up on their YouTube channels for those who aren’t able to attend the classes.

Head of social impact Corrie Conrad said, “We stand with all members of the LGBTQA community and are committed to providing these individuals with the tools they want to feel confident and beautiful every single day.”

Will any of you be attending the classes or tuning in to their tutorials?
