Ever since Meghan Markle became part of the royal family, you’ve probably seen a difference in the way she dresses. Most especially the inclusion of tights into her outfits. In case you didn’t know, all royal women are required to wear tights during public occasions. Royal expert Victoria Arbiter told Marie Claire, “You never see a royal without their nude stockings. I would say that’s really the only hard, steadfast rule in terms of what the Queen requires.”

School girl aesthetic
Before Princess Charlotte went off on her first day of nursery school, she had a few photos taken. Just like any royal, she had on tights with a brown tone to them. A few days ago, Meghan Markle sat next to Queen Elizabeth II at the opening of the Mersey Gateway Bridge. Aside from chilling with the Queen, Meghan looked chic in beige dress, stockings, and black heels. This outfit is perfect fo when you want to feel like a boss in the office. Gray on gray
There is another tiny Princess who we can take some fashion notes from. Earlier this year, Princess Estelle of Sweden was photographed with Prince William and she had on the cutest outfit. If you’re looking for a casual look to wear to the movies, here’s what you need. First is a pair of gray tights that are opaque. Next up is a dress similar to Princess Estelle’s. This one has a round neck, short sleeves, and fringe trim. Finish off your outfit with black flats or loafers.

Kate’s choice
Kate Middleton is no stranger to wearing stockings for royal events. Here, she is seen with Prince William and Prince Harry. She wore a white blouse, black shoes, and patterned skirt.
